New Year, New Ideas, New Music, More Fun!

Welcome to all new and returning students as we begin our New Piano Year.  We'll be starting out by picking out a new Halloween song to play for each other at our annual Halloween party; setting our year-end goals for our Music Literacy skill set; and picking out new pieces to work on for the Music Artistry Program in the Spring.   So crack those knuckles, sharpen those pencils, and get ready to tickle the ivories!

ANGELA TON AND SYDNEY TANG TO PLAY AT THE EMTA HONORS RECITAL 


These young ladies were chosen, based on their outstanding performances at the May 3, 2019, Music Artistry Program to participate in the Edmonds Music Teachers Association (EMTA) Honors Recital on May 10, 2019, at 3:30 p.m.
The girls were selected by Visiting Artist MelicaJelaca-Jovanovic, piano professor at the Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington.  She is also a touring artist.  

Sydney will play, "Sonatina in G," by Thomas Attwood.  Angela will play, "Minuet in G Minor," by C.P.E. Bach

Also chosen, as first alternate, was Anthony Do, for his outstanding performance of, "New Rollerskates," by William Gillock.  Anthony will play if for some reason Angela or Sydney are unable to.

The recital will be held at the North Sound Church, 
404 Bell St, Edmonds, WA 98020.  Students of other EMTA teachers will be playing as well. All are invited to com
